Celebrating film making talent from around the world
The UK Film Festival aims to champion great films but in particular is seeking work from those film makers who might not yet have had the chance for a prestigious public viewing of their work.
We celebrate the cultural diversity of films made in the UK and welcome films from all over the World.
The Festival begins on November 15th 2012.

The UK Film Festival prefers paperless entries submitted via The International Film Festival Submission System (BrigitFest) – on the Web at: Withoutabox.com
Withoutabox provides cost-saving online entry to major film festivals throughout the U.S. and in Europe with one master entry form, allowing you and us to enter your film more quickly and with greater accuracy. This method is free and easy.
Plus as this is a Withoutabox partner film festival, your film automatically become IMDb Qualifying, granting your eligible film submission a no-hassle title page on IMDb.com. This means that as a filmmaker you receive an added benefit just for submitting to UK Film Festival.

Foreign language films should have English subtitles though if the story is totally clear from the visuals, filmmakers may choose not to include English sub-titles.

Pick up a camera. Shoot something. No matter how small, no matter how cheesy, no matter whether your friends and your sister star in it. Put your name on it as director. Now you're a director. Everything after that you're just negotiating your budget and fee.
James Cameron
In England, I'm a horror movie director. In Germany, I'm a filmmaker. In the US, I'm a bum.
John Carpenter
Perhaps it sounds ridiculous, but the best thing that young film makers should do is to get hold of a camera and some film and make a movie of any kind at all.
